On the occasion of the 18th anniversary of Kargil Vijay Diwas, a special program has been organized in memory of the martyrs. This program will be held on 22nd July at the A-Block Community Centre in Janakpuri, Delhi.

Dr. Jitendra Singh, Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO), will attend the program as the Chief Guest. The event will be presided over by Padma Shri Jawaharlal Kaul, an expert on Jammu and Kashmir affairs and a senior journalist. Other distinguished guests include Member of Parliament Parvesh Verma and defense expert Alok Bansal, who will be the Keynote Speaker.

On this occasion, Major General (Retd.) Vishwamber Dayal and Ajay Bharti (MLA, Jammu & Kashmir) will also share their thoughts on Kargil Vijay Diwas as special invited guests.

The program is divided into two sessions.
At 3:00 PM, an academic session will be held, where experts on Jammu and Kashmir will provide in-depth insights into various issues concerning the region.

At 6:00 PM, a special cultural session dedicated to the heroes of the Kargil War will take place. In this session, Dr. Jitendra Singh will honor the soldiers. The program will conclude with a Kavi Sammelan (poetry evening), featuring renowned patriotic poet Gajendra Solanki and humorous poet Brijesh Dwivedi.

The event is being organized by Samvikas, a social service organization, and Jammu-Kashmir People’s Forum.
